These photos were taken for Broadstairs beacon to advertise the local Broadstairs micropub the Royston. When taking these photos I had in mind a warm feeling something that feels homely and natural. Having taken some pictures of the landlord Andy while not staring at the camera makes the place seem natural and friendly. Also having close ups of some aspects of the pub adds to the rustic feel, to further add to that, I increased the white balance to make the picture more yellow and have more of a warm setting, I think doing this makes the photos rustic, realistic and comfortable.
